WBBA registers 15 learners per academic year at the training facility
in Khayelitsha. The relatively low input
rate is optimal for sign language learning where a low teacher to learner ratio
is a prerequisite.
As a hybrid business-charity, we
educate deaf disadvantaged learners to
break the cycle of unemployment and offer
them a vocation and a job that allows them to be full members of the South
African society.
